Ecrypt research meeting on Asymmetric Cryptanalysis (AZTEC WG2)
This informal research meeting is aimed at Ecrypt members interested in doing joint research on cryptanalysis of asymmetric cryptosystems.
Date: Thursday 28 June 2007
Place: Room S3-351
University of Caen
GREYC (Computer Science Lab) - Building "Science 3"
Campus Côte de Nacre (Campus 2)
Boulevard du Maréchal Juin
14032 Caen Cedex
See the University location.
Schedule:
morning session: 9:30 - 12:30
lunch: 12:30 - 14:30
afternoon session: 14:30 - 17:30
Tentative program: there will be no talks (unless someone spontaneously starts one), the available time is meant for discussions and working together.
Tentative list of topics:
- Given the fact that everybody is in an LLL-mood, it is to be expected that both cryptanalysis of lattice-based cryptosystems (e.g. NTRU) and using lattices for cryptanalysis (e.g. Coppersmith-methods) will be hot topics
- You can share your recent and ongoing research and open problems in the group
The final program will be decided at the beginning of the workshop. We welcome additional suggestions, just send an e-mail.
Registration: There is no formal registration, and attending the meeting is free. We would however appreciate it when you could send an e-mail to Benne de Weger (b.m.m.d.weger@tue.nl) if you plan to attend, so that we have a good idea of the number of lunches to be prepared.
